Baked stuffed tomato


Stuffed and baked tomato it can be served as a delicious dinner. This recipe can be eaten by vegetarians to,  but meat lovers should add minced-meat or bacon. Instead of cheese cream you can use ricotta mix with yogurt or grated cheese mixed with yogurt. Feel free to add parsley, oregano,quinoa, tuna, nuts  or chili.



Ingredients for 6 tomato:

6 firm tomato
150 gr double cheese cream (I used Egyptian)
150 gr mushroom
half tsp ground black pepper
half clove smashed garlic
2 tbsp baking oil



1. Cut the mushroom (I used sliced mushroom from can) and fry for 4-5 minutes in 1 tsp of olive oil.

2. Preheat the oven to 190C.

3. Wash the tomatoes and remove the tops to use later as a lid. Use a spoon to remove the seeds and inside flesh.

4. Mix the cheese cream with the smashed garlic and black pepper. Cut the mushroom in smaller pieces and add to the cheese. Mix it well.


5. Stuff the tomatoes with the cheese mushroom mixture. Put the tops of the tomato as a lid.

6. Greased a heater pan with the oil, place the tomatoes and bake for 30 minutes.
