Paleo crepes with chocolate cream. (dairy and processed sugar free, gluten free, flour free)
Back in my home country you can find crepes almost every week on our table. We add jam , cinnamon or Nutella. We also have a traditional salty crepes what we bake in oven and we fill with meat and pour melted cheese or sour cream on the top.
Since a long time I have been trying to find a delicious crepes recipe, but I believe this is the one . I have used this recipe to make a delicious crepes cake, the recipe I will post soon on my blog.
Ingredients for (5-6 crepes)
3 tbsp coconut flour
2 1/2 tbsp arowroot flour
1 tspn Stevia
170 ml water
1 tbsp olive oil (you can add coconut oil also, but this you can add before you fry the crepes)
1. In a bowl mix the eggs with coconut and arrowroot flour and add the Stevia.
2. Pour the water and oil in the mixture and whisk together. Place the bowl in the fridge for 1-2 hours.
3. Add 1 tspn olive oil to your pan and heat a few minutes, use a soup-ladle to add the batter into pan. Fry both sides for 1-2 minutes. (Whit this paleo style crepes you will have to be more careful when you turn them on the other side)
Fill them with homemade chocolate cream or jam.
