Homemade vanilla cream

One of my favorites homemade vanilla cream recipes. I use onto cake and tart. It is very easy and free from food additives.


7,5 dl milk

7 tbsp sugar
1 pond vanilla pod, split, or 1 to 2 tablespoons pure vanilla extract 
4 tbsp corn flour
7 yolk
100 gr unsalted butter

1. Mix 6 dl milk whit sugar and whit the vanilla spot, bring to a boil.

2.Mix the corn flour whit the the rest of milk and yolks. Add to the hot milk.

3. Stir it continue on a low fire.

4. When the cream is heavy remove from heat. Stir it 2-3 times while is chilling down. When is cold mix it whit the butter.
