Golositalia Dubai JLT (Review and Rating 8.5)

Since a long time I have been carving for a good traditional Italian restaurant or coffee place, where they have homemade pastries. Every time I like to look for small, family owned restaurants to enjoy, not crowded or fancy places, I know is difficult to find a not crowded place in a city what is the tourist capital. My husband and I hit the jackpot yesterday night with the Golositalia from JLT Cluster C.
If you've ever lived in Dubai you know what means to find a European restaurant , what is not located in Malls or Hotels. I really suggest this place not only for breakfast or lunch, I suggest even for a romantic lunch or date with your  partner, why ? Because is in good and green area, very clean place, not crowded and is it ITALIAN., OH Mamma Mia :-) . To be honest with you I have read many comment about them, this is a place or you like or you hate, but we loved it, one problem is only and that is the price.
The decoration from inside the place isen`t fancy, is more European style, the walls painted in white, light brown chairs and tables, the wood and the color of the walls gives you a homely and cosy feeling of the place, but in the same way sophisticated.

All the week I was carving after a cannoli, and my disappointed was big when I found out they sold out the cannoli for that day, so I said lets try some custard pastry with an espresso, since I saw the Lavazza name on their umbrella, I had to order the espresso.

Oh, I still feel the taste of the filing in my mouth, the custard it was so creamy, perfect sweetened, had a light yellow color, and the pastry was exactly how needed to be, and no extra icing sugar on the top. Many bakeries use a lot of icing sugar to decorate their pastry, but why we need this? If I want to eat sugar than I will buy sugar. We had also ordered a doughnut with custard filing, what looks more a homemade doughnut with the same custard filing as in pastry.

They have also Italian dish, next time I will try their lasagne.
I must say I enjoyed my time there, in a Dubai winter time in a green area, eating tasty pastry and drinking a heavenly coffee accompanied with my love.

For a cappuccino, one single espresso, one doughnut and one puff pastry we had paied 55 Dirham.

I suggest for the place Italian music (Albano, Tiziano Ferro, Nathalie, L. Pausini ect), maybe you have, but on that time when we where there you did not had any music.
Because the little overprice, my rating for them is 8.5
