European countries and their traditional foods



England:
Meals in England include: breakfast, elevenses, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner, and supper.
Roast beef , Yorkshire Pudding, Toad-in-the-Hole, Fish and chips, Ploughman's Lunch, Cottage Pie & Shepherd's Pie, Lancashire Hotpot, Bubble and Squeak, English Breakfast, Bangers and Mash, Black Pudding, Spotted Dick, Apple Crumble, Roly-Poly, Sunday Roast, Pies and pasties, Tea Loaf.

Irelande:
Ireland has plentiful resources for fresh, local cuisine. Representative Irish dishes are Irish stew, Corned beef `n` cabbage, Bacon and cabbage, Boxty, Coddle, Black pudding, Cottage pie, Skirts and kidneys, Champ, Soda bread , Crubeens and Colcannon.

Spain:
Spanish peopel have tree meals in a day from what the lunch is the day main meal. A typical lunch will have several courses.Traditional dishes are: Huevos fritos con chorizo, pollo ala Andaluza, Paella, Tortilla de Patatas, Escalivada, Tumbet, Gachas, Escudella, Cocido, Mollette.


France:
Where you can eat the best cheese and drink the best wine. Where you wake up on the smell of the fresh baked croissant.
Onion soup, baguette, Boeuf bourguignon (beef stew), Truffes, Foie Gras, Flamiche, Tarte tatin, Salade nicoise, Ratatouille.


Portugal:

Country of the wine lovers has a rich traditional folklor, with great regional variety and great dishes.
Portuguese Paella, Portuguese stew (Cozido à Portuguesa), Bacalhau, Roast suckling pig, Carne de porco à Alentajana, Cozido à Portuguesa, Bread soups, Caldo verde,Caldeirada, Gaspacho, Arroz doce, Pão de Ló.


Germany:

The country where you can attend to Berlin Film Festival, or drink the best beer and you can eat the best sausage (Wurst).Traditional dishes are: Cabbage Rolls Rule, Shrinken, Bavarian Potato Salad, Knöpfle, Bauernbrot, Potato Soup, Linzer Torte, Black Forest Cake, Liver Dumplings, Pan Fried Potatoes, Plum Cake,Sauerkraut, Pretzels.


Denmark:

The Danish open sandwiches (smørrebrød), can be considered a national speciality, it is prepared and decorated with a variety of fine ingredient. Other Danish speciality are :Danish pastry, Leverpostej (liver paste), Meat balls, Roast pork, Ground beef steak, Pea soup, Roast goose, Beer bread, Apple charlotte, Pandekager, Fried fish.


Poland:

Some regions became well known for the type of sausage they made. According to a 2009 Ernst & Young report, Poland is Europe's third largest beer producer.They traditional dishes are :Bigos (traditional stew), Pierogi (dumplings), Mushroom Soup, Golabki (cabbage rolls), Kielbasa, Pierogi, Pyzy, Schabowy, Paczki (Polish donuts), Sernik (Cheesecake), Makowiec (Poppy seeds cake) Piernik (Gingerbread)
