Green salad

A green salad for dinner or for lunch whit grill chicken is the perfect healthy meal. For dressing you can mix yogurt with parsley, oregano, basil or even mint, but also you can use mayonnaise mixed with lemon juice and olive oil. Almost every country has his own salad : Fattoushe, Tabouleh, Cesar salad, Caprese salad, Olivier salad (Russian salad), Waldorf salad, Coleslaw.....

This salad may seem a bit boring, but the possibilities to prepare it is endless. For dinner you can mix whit some grill chicken slices, for lunch you can eat with beef , chicken or turkey.






Ingredients:

2 tomato

1 cucumber
1 green bell pepper
2 tbsp yogurt (plain)
chopped onion
1 clove garlic chopped
1 tsp olive oil
half lemon juice
feta cheese crumbled ( I used a little blue cheese also)
romaine lettuce
ground basil
salt to taste



1. Wash all the vegetables and cut them. Cut the feta cheese and put them together whit the vegetables in a salad bowl.

2. Add the lemon juice and oil to the salad.

2. Mix the yogurt whit basil  and garlic. Pour the dressing onto salad.
