Chopped chicken liver


Chicken livers are high in protein and a rich store of folate. Livers are also loaded with and certain B vitamins, most notably B12. This nutritional makes them a good choice for anyone who suffer from anemia. Chicken livers are also one of the top sources of vitamin A, which helps eye health.
Livers call marjoram as condiment, some people like to be cooked semi, when the liver is still pink inside, but I like well done prepared.




Ingredients:
500 gr cleaned chicken liver
1 chopped medium onion
1 diced medium bell pepper
1 diced  tomato
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoon marjoram
1 teaspoon ground black pepper

1. Fry the onion in 2 tablespoon oil until the onion is soft. Sprinkle with the black pepper. Add the bell pepper and tomato and cook it 2-3 minutes. 

2. Cut the livers in 2 or 3 pieces,place them in the pot, mix it and cook another 2-3 minutes, sprinkle with marjoram and salt, pour 150 ml water on it.

3. Cover the pot with a lid and cook on medium fire for 15 minutes.

Serve with smashed potato, rice or noddles.
