Fried chicken with braised red cabbage and applesauce

A tasty lunch or dinner what will be tasty for everybody. Braised red cabbage and applesauce is a traditional dish in Germany, but you can also eat in Hungary or Transylvania. You can eat instead of chicken with fried pork or beef.

Ingredients:

chicken
one small shredded red cabbage
1 medium onion finely sliced
1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
1 teaspoon Stevia instead of 2 teaspoon of sugar
salt to taste
black pepper
applesauce

1. Fry the chicken on olive oil or grill it.

2. Cook the onion in a pot until is soft, add the black pepper, red cabbage and sprinkle with salt. Pour the water and apple vinegar on the cabbage. Cover the pot with a lid, stirring a few times and cook it on medium heat 30 minutes or until the cabbage is braised. 

3. Serve it while is still warm with the chicken and applesauce.
