Moroccan beef stew (paleo)

This is one of my husband favorite dish. It is a mouthwatering recipe, you can taste the spicy cinnamon but in the same time a sweet taste from the dates and tomato ended with the soft beef. Whit so much delicious ingredients sure is a savory dish, it can be eaten by those to who follow the paleo diet.


400 gr beef cubes
6 big dates
100 gr tomato sauce (100% tomato)
2 teaspoon cinnamon
half teaspoon ground ginger
2 cloves smashed garlic
2 big carrot sliced
half teaspoon salt
1 onion sliced
3 teaspoon coriander
1 teaspoon paprika
half teaspoon chilly
fresh parsley to taste

1. Fry the carrot, onion in 2 tablespoon oil in a pot or pan. 

2. Place the meet in the pan, cover the pot with a lid and cook it for 10 minutes on medium fire.

3. Sprinkle the meet with cinnamon, coriander, salt, paprika, ginger and chilly, add the smashed garlic and dates, mix it well, pour the tomato sauce and 200 ml water in the pot, stir it a few times. 

4. Cover the pot with a lid and cook on low fire for 25 minutes.
Sprinkle with fresh parsley, serve with rice for those who do not follow the paleo diet.
