Red kidney beans in tomato sauce

High in fiber the beans are one of my favorite dish, with or without sausage, are perfect for dinner or lunch. Today I used smoked turkey frankfurters instead of sausage and also I used canned red kidney beans ready to eat
I prepare this food in several ways, with different types of beans and sausage.Vegetarians should let out the sausage or frankfurters.

Ingredients:

2 can ready to eat red kidney beans
2 cloves smashed garlic
1 tsp salt
1 tsp ground black pepper
1 tsp red ground pepper (paprika)
1 tsp oregano
half capsicum
1 medium onion
2 bay leafs
200 ml water
2 tbsp tomato sauce
200 gr sausage or frankfurters
chili to taste

1. Cut the onion and fry with 2 tbsp of cooking oil. Add the ground pepper when the onion is golden brown or soft, stir it well. (You should take out the saucepan from the heat when you add the paprika)

2. Add the beans without the water from the can and add the smashed garlic, salt and bay leafs.

4. Cut the capsicum and tomato in little pieces and add to the bean.

5. Cut the frankfurters and add with the water too to the beans, cover the saucepan and on low heat bring it to a boil. Cook it for 15 minutes.

6. Add the tomato sauce and oregano and bring it to a boil. Cook for 5 minutes on low heat.
